In my ‘Island Drawings’ I express my love for gnarled, moss-covered trees, branches and roots. An aesthetic erotic adds to the works. An end to this series is not in sight. ”

“Die Verbindung von Tusche und Acryl stellt für mich eine besondere Herausforderung dar. Beide Medien im Einklang und harmonischer Konkurrenz. In meinen Inselbildern kommt mein Hang zu knorrigen, moosbewachsenen Bäumen, Ästen und Wurzeln zum Ausdruck. Ästhetische Erotik in Acrylfarben ergänzt die Bilder und verleitet zum Träumen. Ein Ende dieser Serie ist nicht in Sicht”.
